Face Off Max

When we were children, we all dreamed of being astronauts, meeting celebrities and so on. This is why many people, when they discover image editing programs, start putting their faces on other photos to make it look like they are firefighters or on a date with a movie star. Most of the times, those images do not come out well due to the user's lack of experience. With Face Off Max, they can put their faces on other pictures with greater ease and the results will be more satisfying.

The setup file may take a bit longer to download if you have a weak Internet connection, but you can make up for lost time due to the straightforward setup wizard and the fast installation process. It is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 and it will not drain your system's resources.

The software uses a Mac OS style interface. It is basically a wizard which will guide you, step by step, through the whole process. You will need to load two pictures, either from your hard drive or from the program's library. One of these pictures will be the one on which you will paste yourself and the other will be a picture of yourself. The software also allows you to take a snapshot of yourself with a web cam. Just select this option during one of the wizard's steps and the picture will be loaded automatically.

After loading the pictures, you must select your head from the second picture by resizing a rectangle around it. This will crop the selected area, after which you must erase the area around your head with an eraser tool. After you place your head in a certain location on a picture, the next stages of the wizard will have you make a series of adjustments to match the colors of your face with those from the body on which you place it. There are four adjustment stages and they can be made easily with sliders. Finally, you can save the new picture as a JPEG file, email it to your friends ot share it on Facebook with the options available in the last step of the wizard.
